Disappearing pictures

We used chalk, water, a concrete surface and paintbrushes to draw water pictures on the concrete. We predicted what we thought would happen to the water. We thought the water would disappear and the chalk would be left. We were right in our predictions. The liquid water "disappeared", it turned into gas (water vapour) which is called EVAPORATION!

    Wow Room 2! We wondered what you were doing this afternoon when we saw you all outside with water and chalk. Evapouration sounds very interesting!
